Contemporary Website Design and How it Affects your Business Part 3
Part 3: User Experience
In previous sections of this article we’ve discussed the importance of engaging the user, creating intuitive navigation tools and interfaces as tools to communicate with the user. In web and application design this (and so much more) is referred to as the user-experience.
As designers working on advertising your brand identity online the user experience is quite possibly the most crucial part of the entire concept development process. Everything from the sites architecture, the user interface, the media elements we use, the copy that’s written, they all should convey a theme/message/feeling to the user. Taking user-experience into consideration also means taking ease-of-use and how intuitive your site is to a user. The end result should always be: easy to use, intuitive to use.
