Vancouver 2010 – Photographer

Matthew Manor, is very proud to announce that he has been selected as the official photographer for the International Ice Hockey Federation during the 2010 Olympic games in Vancouver.

Matthew will be responsible to provide complete photography and image management support to the IIHF as they oversea all aspects of the Men’s and Women’s ice hockey events in partnership with the International Olympic Committee.

“It is truly an honor to represent Canada on the world stage during the Olympics and the opportunity of a lifetime to do it at home in Canada.” said Manor. Part of his duties will be to capture head & shoulder pictures of each player from each team as well as an official team photo of all the participating teams. His responsibilities will also include covering and capturing all the key moments of the sold-out medal games, of which, Team Canada is a favorite for gold.

“We are so very happy to have such a talented expert on board with our team during this event in Vancouver and feel Matthew will be able to fulfill our requirements without compromise.” said Szymon Szemberg, Communications Director of the International Ice Hockey Federation.

Matthew has been working towards this opportunity over the past 3 years by way of providing extensive photography support and image management services to organizations such as Hockey Canada, the Hockey Hall of Fame and the International Ice Hockey Federation.

Additionally, Matthew has been selected to be the official Team Canada photographer to the Canadian Paralympic Sledge Hockey Team which will be competing for a chance at gold during the 2010 Paralympics also held in Vancouver in early March.
